~Recomended Reading~

Even though I was already a fan of Hunter S. Thomsom's work, a research paper has me enjoying this book immensely. HST's writing style is so refreshing and catchy that I dont mind to write a 12 page paper on it. Ok, well that part still sux, but all in all this book is a realistic, unpolished, first hand account of life with the Angels. Not really a book I would read poolside, but defenitely a tale to shake things up. This book might be hard to find in your average book store, but on Amazon, it's a steal!

winter :*

Being a Floridian, the 2 weeks its not 70 degrees or higher are vital to my love of frostyness.

It's the only time we can get all sassy and layer up :-)

Christmas Eve, etc.

This Christmas has by far been the best in a very long time. My family has come so far in just one year, it's insane. I have the bestest frendz in the world, and 'santa' gave me way too much this year.

So last night, I went to a very fabulous Gay Male Christmas party with my mom (the perks of having a gay mom is being linked into a community of fab gay men) and after an hour of very nice food and interior design we went and picked up Zach from work. My mom is making a big meal today so we just had snack food and cider for dinner. After, we opened presents. Everyone did good this year with the present picking so that was swell.

We didn't have any Christmas movies so my mom went to bed and me and my brother watched a documentary on Metal music and culture \m/

This morning we did stockings, etc, but I was happy to talk to all of my friends in Alabama.

anyways, very boring and very rockin'.
Merry Christmas~

Everything about this video. No words.

I miss Maine

Even though it is Christmas Eve, I can only think about how Christmas must be in Maine.

I miss everything about summer, on that lake house with my bestfriend. Driving anywhere we wanted, blaring whatever music we felt like and what volume it would be played at. Kayaking on the lake all day (i still have a wierd tan line) and singing old songs. (Later to find out you can hear everything on the lake. watching fireworks explode in the sky on a bridge over a beautiful river with the whole town. The excellent food. SO MUCH FOOD. Long nature walks and conversations. (and nature socks) Going up Cadillac mountain and seaside hike. Climbing on rocks with the sea crashing 5 feet away. Those glorious sunsets. Sounds like a romance book, but that's just Maine.
